I just wanted to say how thankful I am that I found your book. I am a 5ft 7in 40 year old female with low blood sugar that weighs 200lbs. My family and I have only been eating for our blood type for a week and already I have lost 2lbs. Thank heavens we are all type A so that makes it much easier.

I have tried other things to lose weight in the past but nothing ever worked and I would get mad and eventually I would just give up, hence the reason I am tired and overweight.

Your book has been absolutely wonderful to read. Our pastor started doing this and he has dropped 20 lbs or more. That's all it took to convince me!

I have followed your "what foods to eat and not eat" suggestions........and my last cholesterol check (which is done every 3 months) it showed to be in the normal range...first time ever...always was high, even though I'm 44 and have always exercised and never been more than 10 lbs. overweight.

In 2005, April, I was diagnosed with hypothyroid disease and celiac. Your bars are the only sweet thing I have found that I can eat. Also, many of the foods that suppress thyroid are ones that Type A should not eat. It really makes a difference too.

After 2 weeks on the makeover program I got your book "Bloodtypes, Bodytypes and You". I switched a few things in my eating regime and feel terrific! I'm a type O and since I read the book I cut out coffee, my treasured daily Diet Coke, and dairy from my daily foods. I also started eating a portion of sweet potato and beef instead of chicken and white potatoes and the pounds are dropping off!

The other day I ate ONE Wheat Thin and had horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea! I've truly become a believer and want to thank you. My 5 month old nursed infant is also almost never fussy as she is a type O also. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have so much more energy (I need it with 4 kids) and am grateful for your studies. It is a special ministry and I pray God blesses you for it!

I consider the information you are providing a God Send. I have high blood pressure (taking 2 pills per day) over weight (over 40 pounds), tried eating better and excising, but little results. Now I have your book, have completed the 28 day plan, am using your strawberry cookie (they are good) and the Thermoblast fat burner. I have lost 9 pounds and over 10 inches, have the energy to exercise and feel a lot better. People keep telling me I look great (not just the weight but my skin, and my over all well being.

I just re-read chapters 12-14. I am now working to expand my exercise program, tighten up my eating plan and implement several of your Health Pack suggestion over the next 30 days.

Thanks - I have struggled with IBS and scanning through the Avoid food list - now I know why. I have made a list and know how to eat well - I just needed to know the correct foods. I have felt a difference in just a few days of watching what I eat. I have been lifting weights for the last 20 years. I have weighed consistently about 115 lbs (I am 5'2") and my lowest % of body fat was 11-12% when I was at my peak in the gym not even 5 years ago. I am not really sure what I am now, but I haven't increased in any sizes.

I just feel "fluffy" as I hadn't been able to work out for almost 6 months. It really wasn't the working out, as I knew I would be able to get back in shape once I changed positions, however it was more being tired of my stomach hurting, literally every time I ate. I am now 43 and still try to work out at least 4 times a week in the gym at work and I just bought a bike! I love exercise so that is not my weak area - it's finding the right foods that make me feel my best....My children are teenagers (3) and I have a 10 year old step son and I want to ensure they know how important being healthy is...Thanks for your book...

Dr. Christiano - I do want to say one thing that I have noticed a difference in is my hormones. You said in your book that people who are AB blood type and very hormonal and I have been that for a lot of years. I will be 56 years young next month and have been menopausal for a few years now.

I had been taking herbs that I had gotten from the health food store (that a nutritionist had suggested to me) because I do not want to take the drugs that doctors give. I have always wanted to due things naturally.

But, since I have been eating according to my blood type, since July 1st, 2007, I have been able to get completely off of the herbs and my hormones have leveled out. I use to have up days and down days and hot flashes but I don't have that any more. One of my avoid foods is chicken and I have not eaten chicken since July 1st and I wonder if that is the reason why my hormones have leveled? I haven't really lost the weight like I have wanted to but that part is my fault because I haven't been able to be consistent with my exercise like I need to because of my busy lifestyle.

Just the eating according to my blood type, I have really noticed how much better I feel and the energy I have - Thank you so much for your support

I have to tell you about my sugar. When I started eating by your book on Nov. 1st my sugar was 185 fasting. Yesterday morning it was 132!!! (Fasting) And I also took it in the afternoon and it was 117!!! I am SO excited about it!!!! I'm telling ALL my friends and family about it. Right before I heard about your book I had been praying that God would show me what I was to do as I really did not want to go to the doctor but I didn't know what else to do as I had already completely quit eating sugar.

Then one day I was with my cousin and she started telling me about your book. It was an answer to prayer.

I learned about 19 months ago that my cholesterol was very high. It was so high that my doctor sent me a prescription of Lipitor in the mail. I didn't want to take medicine so I tried various things like garlic, a small glass of wine, etc. I saw you on TBN and ordered your book sometime in March. I got my results on Friday (6/20/03).

March 03 -- Cholesterol - 243 202

Since starting eating the way your book shows his blood sugar readings have been better than they have been in 8 years. I have been on your weight management program since February 2002.I lost 18 pounds and feel great. I really never looked overweight but I am 5'4" and weighed 150lbs and now I weigh 132 and lost inches. I went from a size 12 to an 8.

Where to start? I could go on and on about how great your eating plan is. My wife and I have both lost weight and feel so much better about our eating habits and our lifestyles. We have also joined the YMCA and are working out three times a week regularly. I have lost 2 inches in my waist and she has lost a whole dress size.

The best part though is that I have been able to go off of the medication I was on for acid reflux. My doctor had prescribed it for me over five years ago. That in itself is reason enough to stay on the plan.

We have found a new energy level, and have also found that when we have to go off of the diet for a meal, or a day, and do put on a pound or two, it seems to melt right off as soon as we go back to eating properly.

I have recommended your book and your eating program to many people, and am sure they will all be as pleased as my wife and I are.

I have had super success with your product!!!!!

I started in February. I saw you on the local christain tv channel. I decided to try your products thinking that it would be like everything else. I would try it 1 time and that would be that. Boy, was I wrong. My story is somewhat long. I am 44 years old. Up until I was about 32, I was really small. Then I started growing and growing. I couldn't stop, no matter how hard I tried.

I had major health problems and went to doctor after doctor before I was diagnosed at age 38 with a large brain tumor on the pit. gland. Doctors tried treating it with medication with no success, just weight gain for me. Since I started your program, for the first time in 3 1/2 years I feel alive again. Hello Joe, I have been on the blood type diet for about 14 months now. This has been the best choice I have ever made. I had gone to my doctor just before I started the diet, BP was 140/110, Cholesterol was 242 and my weight had reached 204 (I am 5 ft 11 in and looking at going to a size 36 waist. After 6 months on the diet I went back to my doctor, my BP 110/85, Cholesterol 165 and my weight was 180. Just had my last yearly physical and all continues to look great - my doctor has been astonished (so much so - he wants to read your book. I am now down to 173 and believe this to be a good weight for me. I stick pretty close to the diet, I would say about 95% of what I eat is blood type friendly with a cheat once and while. - Best Regards

I have been using your diet guidelines for 8 days and cannot believe the difference. For weeks I had been telling my husband I was so tired I couldn't believe it... I was exercising 4-5 times a week and eating what I thought was a "healthy" diet. Just about everything I was eating was on my AVOID LIST! I noticed the difference within 3 days! Started April 1, 07 and have lost 21 lbs and lost inches all over, my blood pressure looks great, used to be high. All in 12 weeks! My doctor said that if I keep losing the weight, she will decrease the medication. Sounds great to me! I believe that with changing my eating style I will be able to maintain what I have lost and will be able to keep it off - in order to lose weight you have to eat more.- magic word is metabolism.

Dr. Joe, I recently got your book, "Bloodtypes, Bodytypes and YOU".....after getting the book I went to the VA for a physical and found out I was diabetic!!! my blood sugar was 294..cholesterol was 312, and trigs were 602......well following your book and starting a walking program of 30-60 minutes a day, plus working out at the spa with weights, in 90 days my blood sugar dropped to an average of 110 (5.9 reading) with cholesterol at 165, trigs at 179!

Well, it's been a little over a year since I began to follow the suggestions for my blood type, and I have never felt better! I have lost 15lbs. of fat and kept it off, mainly by eating appropriately because there has been no consistent cardiovascular exercise in my life this past year.

Not only have I noticed the change but I have never received more compliments on my appearance than I have over this past year. Family and friends alike have commented and inquired about what I am doing to get these envious results. (By the way, many of them are the ones who were the most vocal skeptics at the beginning, but the results speak for themselves!) They come to me with questions and I always tell them what works for me is eating for my blood type I direct them to your web site to get a copy of your book "Bloodtypes, Bodytypes and You".

I say again, at the risk of being redundant, that since I began following the blood type suggestions, I have never felt better, looked better, enjoyed better results or more compliments in my life. Moreover, I have not had to endure bouts of indigestion or upset stomach, nor have I been stricken by the previously common bronchial/strep throat infection in the past 14 months. I am currently 32 years old, soon to be 33, and plan to incorporate these disciplines into my life as long as the Lord gives life to me.

PS - My 60 year old father began to eat according to his type (type A) a little over a month ago and comments that he has never felt better. He did not think he was feeling bad, but knows that he is now feeling better than before. Not only that, but he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in December 2001 after a routine check-up found him to have a PSA level of 4.2. One month after beginning these type-A foods, his level had retreated to a 3.7.

I was so skeptical the first time I saw your book about eating according to your blood type. What will they think of next? I saw you on Joni Lamb's program on Daystar and the things you were saying made me want to give it a try. I ordered your book "Bloodtypes, Bodytypes, and You" and your Home Blood Typing Kit. It has changed my life!!!

Even before I used the blood type kit I sort of knew I was going to be type O. The things on the Avoid List have always been a problem for me - corn, orange juice, vinegar, peanuts, Brussel Sprouts, dairy foods, etc. The things I didn't realize were bad for me were wheat, potatoes and pasta, which I was eating a lot of because I thought they were healthy foods. All these foods have caused me to suffer with allergies, thyroid disease, constipation, bloating, gas, colitis. Aerobic exercise has always made me feel great and I have a muscular build. I could go on and on but let me just say everything in your book was right on for me.

I have been on the program for 5 weeks and I cannot believe the change. I lost 2 inches in my waist the first 4 weeks! I have not eaten anything on my avoid list and for the first 4 weeks I tried to eat only beneficial foods. Your Body Genetics Protein Shakes are wonderful and has helped me stay on track. Thank you for making this so simple and easy. I am going for a medical physical and will report back to you my results.

I have devoured all three of your books. I am type O; apple body. I am 63 y/o. I made the switch to eating for my blood type 100% January 9, 2002. My physician is amazed. I am off all my asthma/respiratory medications. I have cut back my thyroid medication and increased my exercise regimen. I have lost four inches around the waist. I am sleeping soundly. Hypoglycemia is gone. Eight friends have noticed the radical changes in this short time and have asked, "What am I doing?" My aunt, who is 74, looks the best I've ever known her and she feels wonderful. I've been on blood pressure medicine for almost 12 years. Since doing the colon cleanse and following the eating for my blood type I've lost 14 lbs. I now weigh 129lbs. and no longer need to take blood pressure medicine. At 50, I’m feeling great!

After reading your book Bloodtypes, Bodytypes and YOU I ordered your INNER OUT colon cleansing system. That said I need to give some background on myself. I am 51 years old and was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). My blood type is B and I am overweight by about 70 pounds. Back in Feb, my white cell count was not too high, really, but it was about 26,000, which it had been for 6 months or more. I did the colon cleansing in March (a painless procedure by the way) and in February I stopped eating chicken completely. I must say this was a hard thing to do as for the last 12 years all my diet attempts centered on chicken and it had become a mainstay of my family's diet. I also stopped eating corn and corn products. As a matter of fact, I had some popcorn about 3 weeks after giving it up and the next day I felt just awful. I don't eat corn anymore either!!

Now back onto the CLL. I had a blood test done a couple of weeks ago to test for my cholesterol level. They counted the white cells too and surprisingly, my white cell count dropped by a 4 thousand count. I was shocked and relieved! I had expected my count to slowly climb for years until I needed chemo.

Anyway would the lack of chicken and corn in my diet have been a factor in this drop? Would the colon cleansing have had an effect?

The removal of chicken meat (and corn) is one of the main dietary changes that have contributed to your improved condition especially because of the dietary lectin found in the chicken meat and you being a blood type B. My name is Kenneth S. I am 58 years old. I heard about you at the end of 2007 from a Christian radio station when I was working in Charleston, SC. You were on Point of View Radio. I ordered the materials and read the book, Blood Types Body Types and You. In January 2008, I began eating some according to my blood type. I had set some goals at the end of December. I wanted to get off the prescription medicine that I was on and wanted to lose a certain amount of weight.

In February 1 2008, I began with your INNER OUT Colon Cleansing System and began to follow the plan for my blood type. I was 230 pounds on January 1 and was taking blood pressure medicine and two types of cholesterol medicine.

During the time I was taking the INNER OUT, all kinds of parasites and weird looking junk was coming out of me. At the end of three months, I was off the blood pressure medicine and at the end of four months I was off the cholesterol medicine. I had lost 52 pounds. My doctor could not believe it. He had been treating my symptoms but not the problem. He said he was going to make me the poster person for the doctor’s office. I feel so much better with increased energy. People at church and everywhere I go want to know everything. A lot of people have begun ordering. Also my wife has lost 35 pounds and her medical condition has improved greatly.

I have lost from 29 pounds of body fat to 20 pounds of body fat and my blood pressure is much lower than it was while I was on the medicine. It is now averaging 107/58 for the last four months. Also my cholesterol is lower that it has ever been.

I followed this book about 12 years ago at 19 years old and it transformed my entire life and way of living. I was never over weight do to speak, but was not born naturally fit or muscular. After 6 weeks I was 124 lbs, muscular and my migraines were gone. I have been I've off Zantac ever since following your book about eating for my blood type. Besides that, I've been on my own personal journey of healing and recovery. I've held fast to 1 Cor 6:19-20. My husband has lost about 25lbs and I have lost about 12, but I am toning up a lot, so that is exciting! :) So on of our friends now has my book and he is really excited about getting on board.

Good Morning Dr. Joe, Makes sense from the Medical Science Field Approximately 18 months ago I weighed over 300lbs. I am almost 6'3" tall and I carried it well; which is to say I did not look morbidly obese but I sure felt terrible. I tried other diets and I did lose weight (about 20lbs) but every time I strayed from the diet just a bit I would gain 5 or 10 pounds back. My future mother-in-law dropped off your book one day and I began to read it. Having worked in the medical science field for almost 20 years, everything in the book just made sense so I gave it a shot. Before I even noticed significant weight loss I almost immediately started feeling the difference in my energy level (mentally and physically). I am happy to say the last time I stepped on the scale it read 231 lbs. I got off the scale and checked to make sure it was calibrated properly and stepped back on and it was accurate. There are a few things that amaze me even more about the success of the diet. First of all, I have not been doing the 80/20 rule. Right now I am more of a 70/30 but I'm working on it. Even at 70/30 I have been able to succeed. Secondly and most amazing is that due to a shoulder injury about a year and a half ago I lost all this weight and feel great without weight training. My shoulder feels great now and I am proud and excited to say I am going back to the gym the week after next. Being a "Type O" I am absolutely sure I will see rapid progress in my muscle tone and feel even better. I am 37 years old and right now I feel better than I did when I was in my twenties. I will keep you posted. I am also looking forward to utilizing your INNER OUT colon cleanse system when I receive it. I have about 8 people at work that have recently purchased your book and are just starting to adjust their shopping habits. I can't help but be a huge advocate. Thank You, Steve

I am so excited to say that eating according to my blood type has almost totally wiped out my simple carb food cravings, at night, after our workout, I use to hardcore crave simple sugars, but it is amazing to me how this new change has taken those cravings away!! When I was younger my mom insisted I get allergy tests done. I was allergic to a lot of things. I couldn't believe it. I continued to eat like normal and not really avoid any food, just cats, mold, pollen, then normal stuff. It wasn't until I read Joseph's book about blood type dieting that I realized everything that he says to avoid as an "O" type, was what the doctors said I was allergic too. How ironic is that! Just a few days of staying away from the "avoid" foods I have have no gas! That one thing right there in it self is amazing for me. Thanks Dr. Joe.."

I am a lab tech in a hospital. I work with nurses and doctors who all want to get fit and healthy. We have gone on ALL the diets our there and none of them worked until I bought this book and started following the O diet. Within 6 months I lost 85lbs. I was over 200lbs. It is truly the easiest plan to follow. It is now a year later and I feel great and have not gained a pound. This book is a life saver!!
